Fernanda Mª. Cordeiro de OliveiraCoordinator of PPGFAP, Professor at UFSCShe holds an undergraduate degree in Biology (2010) and a master’s degree in Evolutionary Biology (2012) from the Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa; and a doctoral degree in Botany (2017) from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Since her doctoral degree, she has worked with plant anatomy, with a special interest on: vegetative organs, flower anatomy, developmental anatomy, ecological anatomy, and anatomy applied to systematics. She became a professor at UFSC in early 2018. She assumed the position of Coordinator of PPGFAP in May 2022. |
Paulo Tamaso MiotoDeputy Coordinator of PPGFAP, Professor at UFSCHe holds an undergraduate degree in Biology (2007), a master’s degree in Botany (2011) and a doctoral degree in Botany (2016) from the Universidade de São Paulo. During his doctoral studies, he worked with the modulation of crassulacean acid metabolism in bromeliad species. He became a professor at UFSC in 2017. He is currently investigating the role of ectomycorrhizal fungi on the physiology of native restinga plants, focusing on a plant species with high potential for the recovery of degraded areas. He assumed the position of Deputy Coordinator of PPGFAP in May 2022. |
